So after being mildly disappointed with ACOTAR, I doubled down and bought the second book in the series. I'm glad I did. While the plot seemed somewhat secondary to the relationship development between Rhys and Feyre, I enjoy a good romance and this one delivered. There were some seriously steamy scenes in this one.

Probably my favorite book in the series. Maas' portrayal of Feyre's trauma was spot-on, as well as Tamlin's shift toward overprotective/possessive. Enough so to make me uncomfortable, which is a good thing! I actually began to get invested in Feyre in this book, where I hadn't in the previous one. She became more likeable, more interesting, and I really enjoyed Rhys's character flip/reveal.
