After a brief shipping delay, I finally got to finish this trilogy and I'm so glad I did! So many things about Finale were on point for me and I really enjoyed the way Garber wrapped this up.
In Finale, Tella and Scarlett set out to destroy the Fates that were released from their mother's Deck of Destiny in the second book. With the aid of a few less-than-trustworthy immortals, they seek to unravel the mystery of the Fates' immortality and put an end to their reign of terror before it can truly begin.
Not only did this final installment bring back a lot of the magic I loved about the first book (and felt was sorely lacking in the second), it was filled to the brim with great character dynamics. Jacks and Tella had some amazing chemistry (both contentious and romantic) but the triangle with Legend? Ugh. Got me good. This ending did the series justice, I think, and really stuck with the overall theme of "love is the most powerful magic". This series turned out to be a fantastic read that I will gladly recommend to others.
